Fr. Alphonsus Trabold was not only well-known for his strange hobbies and interests, but for the class he offered on campus, nicknamed "Spooks". Fr. Alphonsus taught students about the paranormal, discussing topics such as ghosts, demons, and ESP. In every class he taught, he left the front row of desks open for any "visitors from the other side" that might want to join them for the day.
Students who took the class had their fair share of stories as well. The door to the room would open, and Fr. Alphonsus would stop lecture to welcome the invisible guest into the room. Once, a bird flew into the room, and Fr. Alphonsus commanded it to leave out the open window, and it listened. No matter the beliefs of his students, everyone agreed that he had a gift for very strange things, and respected that gift as much as he respected everyone who stepped into his life, whether they were still of this world or not.
